Second Round: Commercial Vehicle Parking Petition
March 13, 2026
The Board of Directors for Mission Bend MUD No. 2 is making a final push to address overnight commercial vehicle parking, and we are only 3 signatures away from our goal!
We have seen a great response from the community so far, but we need these last few signatures to meet the Harris County requirement (25% of owners/tenants) to begin enforcing towing and installing "No Parking" signs.
Why This Matters
Meeting this goal allows the District to:
Improve Safety: Increase visibility for drivers and pedestrians.
Protect Property: Prevent street damage from heavy commercial loads.
Ensure Access: Keep streets clear for fire trucks and ambulances.
How You Can Help:
- Find the "Action Required" hanger on your front door.
- Complete the Signature Form Petition located on the backside of the hanger.
- Hang the signed petition back on your doorknob by SUNDAY MARCH 15TH.
Collection Date
District representatives will be coming through the neighborhood to collect these signatures on: Monday, March 16th.
By signing, you are supporting the installation of signage prohibiting the overnight parking of 18-wheelers and other commercial vehicles within the District. Let’s work together to keep Mission Bend MUD No. 2 safe and beautiful.
